Cash flow is a core asset

Kiios Services provides treasury services to Kiios Holdings, an in-house investment group. We manage the assets of our portfolio company in order to optimize returns on liquid holdings and long-term financial assets. Through these activities we are able to increase total returns by an average of 1-2%, which translates to an increase in bottom line earnings (and therefore enterprise value) of between 5-20%. These are conservative investment returns - most of our investments are liquid, guaranteed securities, although we do invest a portion of our portfolio in other vehicles. We now offer these services independently to our services clients.

Stop giving away your money

Most small firms either park liquid assets in bank accounts earning minimal (if not negative) interest, or utilize bank-sponsored cash management accounts which also produce heinously small returns. Some small firm owners attempt to manage their portfolios using what we affectionately term the "throw the money in the blender" strategy in their spare time. Money managers should focus on money management and should be professional money managers, not evening experts. Our strategy is to intercept treasury transactions between A/R, A/P and the bank. We exploit every possible day of float, and recommend investments that are consistent with your cash requirements and your financial return strategy, which we can help you to develop. We also help you to negotiate and exploit better opportunities from your customers and vendors. There are degrees of freedom that most companies never consider, and rarely analyze properly. There are times when you can decrease your prices in exchange for accelerated payment terms and increase enterprise value in the process. While some firms may offer discounts for early payment, they often miss even more lucrative opportunities that essentially arbitrage/leverage the credit capacity of buyers against their own, resulting in free money from banks.
